I came to yoga to help with migraines.
I discovered not just the physical relief that yoga provided, but how to cultivate more self-compassion, inner calm and a greater sense of purpose in all aspects of my life. It wasn't long before I undertook teacher training, and gradually transitioned from the corporate world into teaching yoga full-time.
I’m driven to support others to unlock their body’s innate intelligence and bring balance to their nervous system.
I'm particularly interested in how yoga can support experiences of mental health distress, chronic pain and trauma. I've undertaken Yoga Alliance-certified training in vinyasa flow, yin and restorative yoga, as well as yoga nidra and yoga for trauma, mental health and body image.
My yoga is...
Warm and welcoming, with a little humour and light-hearted banter along the way. There are plenty of reminders to check in with the breath and for clients to notch their practice up or down to suit their needs that day.
